When we read God’s Word, we find his promises, truths, and character. We can pray those back to God, confident that we are praying his will.

As we, followers of Jesus, encounter challenges of various kinds, our first consideration should be how to handle the situation in a way that honors God.

We are to work with all our heart at whatever we are doing, remembering that with our lives submitted to Christ, it is the Lord we are serving.

As with a plant, we need to be connected to the source of life in order to bear fruit. Jesus provides us with the nourishment of himself – the  Word and Living Water.
