* Follow and Lead Neighborhood Bible study

“Thank you so much Tammy for creating such a wonderful resource for anyone who wants to dig into the Word, hide God’s Word in their hearts and also connect with others. My daughter and I immensely enjoyed spending Monday mornings this year with our dear neighbor discussing our lessons and memorizing scripture. I really appreciate how each lesson is broken up into days that are ‘bite sized pieces’ easy to digest and work through. Memorizing scripture has always been difficult for me as an adult and having the accountability of meeting on Mondays gave me the boost I needed to get over that hump. I highly recommend this study as a Bible curriculum for homeschoolers as well as anyone wanting to connect with others to dive deeper and memorize Bible verses.”

“Sarah, Emersyn and Norma beheld the Nature of God during our Follow and Lead Bible study. We met September through part of April and had fun in between all the busy-ness and responsibilities that a young lady has every school day. God accompanied us in our walk through the alphabet. Praise His Name. Follow and Lead increased vocabulary, promoted the sharing of thoughts about God, opened up creativity within each of us and gave us hope, joy, and delight.

“There’s nothing more practically important to a Christian’s walk with Christ than to know Him in His word. All that we need as Christians: comfort during times of hardship, wisdom during times of indecision, correction during times of sin, humility during times of pride, peace during times of difficulty, in short, everything we need to live a life pleasing to the Lord, is in the Scriptures. Jesus Himself when weakened and tempted by Satan went directly to Scripture. And He went to Scripture He had memorized. Jesus Christ, God Himself, saw Scripture as so valuable, so life giving, that He dedicated it to memory.

That is why, as a Christian, husband, father, and pastor I so value the Do LAPS! curriculum. Do LAPS! is completely centered on memorizing and understanding the word of God. This curriculum helps students memorize and understand scripture through repetition, comprehension of the meaning of the words and context, and with some creative and fun memory aids too. I love that there is no ‘agenda’ to the curriculum other than memorizing and understanding the scripture verse for that week. If it sounds straightforward, that’s because it is! By aiding with scripture memory and apprehension this curriculum will help to provide the foundation for you or your child’s life as a disciple, learner, follower, and lover of Jesus Christ.

Follow and Lead has been an integral aspect of each of my days -- from being a part of my Bible study, to the verses, themes, and truths of who God is being reminders throughout the day. Follow and Lead emphasizes the most important thing: knowing God. And from this, we can further understand who we are and what we are made for. God has used Follow and Lead to grow me in knowledge, wisdom, and worship of Him, giving me boldness to share His wonderous love with others.

“God gives us resources in different ways to truly get to know him. Some people, like me, need direction and encouragement in how to do this. It is important to choose what is true and what is in alignment with God’s Word…. Follow and Lead has helped me tremendously. It is exactly as she states - ‘Heart Training.’ Studying this book in a group study really helped as well. Going through this weekly along with the Word of God helped me to know God’s character deeper, with more understanding and also served as a reminder of how truly real and beyond amazing God really truly is! Part of this study is memorizing verses, which helped me so much. Every day may not be easy, but when we have the word of God instilled in our hearts and spirits, it sure makes a difference. The peace of God gets me through every day living. Thank you, Tammy Puckett, for listening to God to create these books. It has been such a blessing to me and I pray it blesses many others as well.”

Do LAPS! relates to everyone in our family. It is a wonderful guide to begin a natural course of training with our young children. The verses have helped direct our thoughts about our interactions with one another. The discussion ideas and teaching tips point to the character of God and tie in the character traits that God can shape in us. The guide helps us verbalize the spiritual lessons we can learn within daily situations and apply the verse at a level our children can grasp. I love the format to customize the activities to strengthen memory of God’s Word. It is a book that can serve as a devotional, a specialized Bible curriculum, or even enhance a set Bible curriculum.”

“When engaging in quiet time I find that I like to change things up a bit. I like to read a chapter in the Bible and then move on to Keep on Track. I find that it’s a great tool for meditation, and I know the Lord is using the book to prime my heart for seeking communion with him. The book has been such a blessing.”

* Follow and Lead Ava Meyer, age 14

“I think starting Follow and Lead was a very good thing for me. I’ve always wanted to learn about God, I just never knew how or where to start. I would ask my family questions, but I wanted to know more. Follow and Lead has made a difference in how I see the world now and how I see God. It’s made me really think about how much he has really done for us. I am very grateful that I got Follow and Lead to learn more about God. My bond with God has been getting stronger and stronger every day.”

Keep on Track book is a great guide that helps me understand the Bible more effectively. I have been using this workbook for awhile now with a friend. I would say that it would be good for even group studies. This book helps me remember verses more and see clearly the real life applications. I would recommend it to anyone who desires to strengthen their faith and learn more about Christian living.”

Follow and Lead is a God-centered, Word-centered discipleship tool that equips one to nurture young hearts into a relational knowledge of the Holy One. The good news of the Gospel is interwoven throughout the creative weekly rhythm of the alphabetically arranged lessons. Each lesson reinforces the reality that a Scriptural knowledge of God is a joyful privilege with life-altering implications and applications. The pervasive emphasis on Scripture memory and meditation on God’s Word is refreshing!”

Do LAPS! is a great book, and you learn a lot of verses. I enjoy the crossword puzzles. I think she should make more Bible memory books.”

* Keep on Track Angela Sturkie

Keep on Track guides me to explore the Bible and understand the power of God’s words. It pushes me to hide His words in my heart, so I’m ready to share with others.”

* Do LAPS! Pastor Kurtis L. Summerville B.A., M.T.S., D. Min.

Do LAPS! is a game changer! This book successfully coaches each young believer by utilizing methods of understanding, memorizing, and practicing God’s Word in a creative and contemporary way. I believe that Do LAPS! enables us to raise children who can “win” their spiritual battles with God’s Word! Tammy has also tapped into the methods of the old Rabbinical tradition of making God’s Word a treat to learn. Each activity gives reinforcement to the next. This allows every student to be able to develop an “A-Z” library of powerful verses for life. While “doing the laps,” I am reminded of Ezekiel saying, “it [God’s Word] was in my mouth as sweet as honey” (Ezekiel 3:5). What sweet refreshment for the soul…”

* Follow and Lead Emmalyn Sturkie, age 11

* Keep on Track Women’s church small group

“The Bible study group is using Keep on Track. We are really enjoying the memory verses and holding each other accountable to memorizing the verses to help us 'keep on track.’ We really enjoy the interactiveness of the book, the word searches, the memory aid drawings, and the repetition of the verses. We use the book individually, but as a group we come together and discuss the verses and how they relate to our lives. It caters to different learning styles and the group finds that helpful.”

* Keep on Track Mia Entner, age 13

Keep on Track is a great resource for growing in your faith and hiding God’s Word in your heart. It’s fun and easy and makes you dig deeper and apply Bible verses to your life. I have really enjoyed using it for school and devotions and learning more about God and what He has to say to us. It has definitely helped me in my relationship with the Lord and I would highly recommend it to you!”

* Keep on Track Karlie Bick, college student

“I have been enjoying Keep on Track immensely. It’s helpful, fun, engaging, and thought provoking all in one.”

* Do LAPS! Maggie Hunter, parent, missionary

My kids have been eager each day to Do LAPS! Going through the alphabet has been a helpful way for us to review our different verses. I appreciate how the verses are introduced in their context and how there are helpful questions to make sure my kids understand the verses. The teaching tips are beneficial... it’s really easy to get into a good groove with the material. My kids even know what to expect each day. I really appreciate a program that makes something that I want to teach my kids (Scripture memory) so accessible and easy to follow.”

* Keep on Track Allison Puckett, college student

Keep on Track has been extremely beneficial in my walk with the Lord. It has been timely within my life and other Bible studies. The various elements are effective for learning and understanding the Word. I especially like the correlating Bible passages that expand the concepts in exciting ways. Praying for the Bible recipient gives me greater insight into how God’s Word transcends believers’ situations. The Holy Spirit will use this to touch and grow all who make Keep on Track a part of their life.”

* Follow and Lead Joel Swanson, age 10

“I like the book because it teaches one about the character of God, and the characteristics about God are very encouraging. The Bible stories are very encouraging, and when I am struggling, I find great courage in the stories.”

* Keep on Track Glen Ewart, pastor, InterVarsity campus staff minister

“When running my one and only marathon (26.2 miles), I remember wishing at mile 18, when I hit the proverbial “wall,” that I had followed a training plan. Somehow I managed to finish, but it was a painful and ugly final 8 miles! We get one, and only one, chance of running the marathon called “Life.” Tammy has put together this terrific spiritual training plan that I hope will help many, of all ages, finish this race well. (2 Tim. 4:7)”

* Do LAPS! Danielle Thiel

“I started Do LAPS! with my eight year old son a few weeks ago. We are on week five, “E.” It has been AMAZING to see the transformation in my child in these five short weeks. Do LAPS! is a God send for sure. The way the book puts the Bible verses in alphabetical order makes it easy to remember the verses, and the extra activities make it fun… My son is able to quote five Bible verses off the top of his head and so am I now! It has been a fun journey and I look forward to completing the rest of Do LAPS!… I am seriously so happy to have this book in our lives.”

* Keep on Track Beverly Johannes, wife, parent, grandmother

What a gift this book is, bringing joy as I continue to build my home with the Lord. The focus is on Biblical, practical application of showing love, seeking and knowing God, and praying for personal enrichment for oneself… I have a legacy to pass down to my grandchildren. Are they seeing Jesus in me?… I want my life to shine and be joyful for Him wherever I am. Only what’s done for Christ will last. I am thankful for this awesome book, helping me “Keep on Track” with all the wonderful study activities, as I keep my eyes on Jesus. ‘For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.’ Luke 12:34.”

* Follow and Lead Angela Sturkie

“This allowed my child to discover the character God wants from her and for her to know how valuable she is to His work.”

* Keep on Track Rosemary Braxton

“My son and I were both drawn in to the study method of Keep on Track. The selection of verses have been applicable to our daily lives and have been good for discipleship. We’ve enjoyed talking through each verse, because each one is so foundational to the believer’s daily walk with the Lord. The studies are very effective at helping internalize the verse. We really enjoyed delving into the Bible and seeing how it connected with our key verse. The more we study the Bible and get to know our Savior leads to loving and obeying Him more.

The review aid for keeping the verses memorized is extremely helpful... We have been able to recall the verses even in the midst of the busyness of life. I’ve noticed how my outlook on a matter has completely changed as I have memorized these verses. I have been able to lay aside the flesh on several specific occasions as I have meditated on a key verse or passage that was connected to the key verse. It is a beautiful thing!

The added detail of praying for the Bible recipient is really special. We have just received pure joy knowing we get to participate in such an act. Our Lord has commanded us to pray for one another, so it brings joy to obey this command as an act of worship to our Savior.”

Do LAPS! enables someone of influence in a child’s life (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) to take the child’s spiritual growth one step further.  This book will help your kids to learn Bible verses and their meanings through engaging activities and memorization. Children need a foundation in the Word so that when temptations from the world, flesh and the evil one occurs, they know WHO they are and WHOSE they are!

As a resource and tool for family devotions it will enrich the child as they immerse themselves in the word of God. Tammy gives a methodology and a process that is fun for the kids to be able to learn and memorize scripture. When kids hide God’s word in their hearts it will not depart from them, and the Holy Spirit will bring it to their mind at just the right time... Also, you and your kids will be placing a Bible in the hands of a believer in a persecuted country. One day they will rejoice together in God’s kingdom.”

“I began my walk in faith not that long ago and I can confidently say that this book is an amazing resource in understanding and studying the word of God. It really helps you learn the verses and apply them to everyday life. It shows that God’s word truly is power. The complexity of it really helps you think deeper and harder into the word of our Lord and Savior. This book was very eye-opening and truly helps you “stay on track.”

* Keep on Track Pastor Kurtis L. Summerville B.A., M.T.S., D. Min.

“Long distance runners tend to become exhausted and need a refresher to ensure that they will make it to the end. Each runner is offered water or drinks enriched with electrolytes to enable the body to “Keep on Track.” Tammy provides us an opportunity to be refreshed on the spiritual journey through the sweet taste of God’s word! Her use of practical memorization tools equips each participant to run farther and faster for the Lord.”

* Keep on Track Kimberly Kinateder

“This is a great book that helps me read lots of key scripture passages for understanding, application, and memorization. Questions and activities draw out the meaning of the verses and help with memorization. It’s also cool to know that purchasing this book helps get a Bible to a believer who needs one in another country.”

* Do LAPS! Brandy Newton

“I love how the book gives children resources to help their behavior on levels they can understand.”

* Keep on Track Arlene Johnson, former Awana Director of Global Development

I have been a believer for over 25 years and this resource on “training for spiritual growth” was what I needed to revitalize my relationship with the Lord. I can tell that the Holy Spirit led Tammy to write Keep on Track  because His Word was illuminated in a way that it became alive again for me as I went through the exercises.

Many Christians think that reading God’s word is what they need to do each day or when they have the time to do so. But many believers don’t truly know how to study God’s word or don’t have the time to do so. This resource helps to put discipline and structure for believers to be able to study topical scripture, to understand their meaning, and to memorize them, so they are always hiding God’s word in their hearts.  It uses specific exercises to help you apply the concepts for godliness, to learn God’s character and understand the verses in context. It even shows you HOW to pray scripture and is a powerful process because He answers prayers that are in His will. This book was exactly what I needed in this season in my life when I was not hearing Him speak to me. I have fallen in love with Jesus again as I went through the exercises. God wants to enlighten you and let you know he loves you through it.

As a global missionary, I am most excited that when you purchase Keep on Track, a Bible is provided to a believer in a country hostile to Christians...”

* Keep on Track Beverly Kinateder, high school student

“I really like how the verses are from all parts of the Bible as the study asks us to read from places in both the New and Old Testament, which give us a deeper understanding and more context. I have found the verses effective in how I can live out my faith. I like how the prayers are structured and they are a good reminder that talking to Jesus is a conversation as we have relationship with Him.”
