The Reality

Do you live in the reality of Jesus’ resurrection?

As believers, our daily lives should reflect that we serve the living Savior!

Do we enter each new day with the mindset of having access to the mighty and holy God? Do we accept the Holy Spirit’s power to transform us? This is magnificent to not only ponder but realize!

We can embrace each day as an opportunity to know God better because Jesus conquered sin and allows us a relationship with God. He continues to offer us his abundant grace and blessings as we submit to him. Let’s remind ourselves of God’s truths as we meditate on his Word. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be fully equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, letter A in Keep on Track).

As we begin a new day, we can be assured of God’s love for us. No matter how we feel about ourselves, we can “know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them” (1 John 4:16).

Whatever the day may hold, we can be confident that Jesus is with us: “… surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20b). Will we acknowledge him and choose his ways?

We can be thankful for how God provides for our needs. He meets our spiritual and physical needs. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).

Jesus gives us his peace as we give over our concerns to him. He already knows the ins and outs and the in-betweens! He is able to handle our situations better than we can. “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all” (2 Thessalonians 3:16, letter N in Keep on Track).

As we weigh the decisions we face, we can ask the all-knowing God for wisdom. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5).

May God’s blessings help you live in light of Jesus’ resurrection, each day, and “may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).
